Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater service team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our design team, you will work closely with our Project Managers to deliver high-quality projects to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water/wastewater projects of various size and complexity
- Develop detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects, including coordination with other disciplines and government agencies
- Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates, and perform field reviews and assessments
- Participate in contract bidding, provide limited observation during construction, and review submittals and RFIs
- Represent clients and the firm in meetings with governmental agencies
- Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Mentor, train, and/or supervise the work of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel
- 5+ years of increasing responsibility in engineering
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Arizona (or capable of obtaining within 6 months)
- Experience designing sanitary sewer pipelines, rehab and pump stations, and/or designing potable water pipelines, storage, and pumping
- Open channel and/or pressure flow modeling and summary report production
