Position Overview:

As a vital member of our emergency response team, Paramedics are tasked with addressing urgent medical and traumatic incidents, delivering both basic and advanced life support services, and ensuring safe transportation to suitable medical facilities. Paramedics are expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism and collaborate with various departments as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to a range of medical emergencies and provide inter-facility transfers to hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes.
  • Deliver emergency medical assistance at the scene, during transit, and while transferring patients between facilities, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Execute basic and advanced life support procedures in accordance with certification levels.
  • Engage in additional tasks related to emergency and non-emergency medical care, contributing to the development of the emergency medical system.
Additional Duties:
  • Exemplify professionalism and leadership, prioritizing patient care above all.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement in operations.
  • Maintain readiness of vehicles and equipment at the start of each shift and after every call.
  • Respond to emergencies with caution, following legal and regulatory standards, and ensure personal safety at all times.
  • Practice Universal Precautions and adhere to infection control protocols during patient interactions.
  • Lead and supervise team members during emergency situations when necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care and documentation for every interaction.
  • Participate in community education initiatives and public relations efforts as directed.
  • Engage in ongoing education to maintain required certifications and ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Complete various routine assignments to support operational efficiency.
Work Environment:
  • Paramedic roles may be available in full-time, part-time, or per diem capacities.
  • Positions are based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Work under the guidance of a daily supervisor to ensure effective operations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Paramedic certification from the relevant state authority.
  • Certification in CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical personnel.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related tasks, including lifting and transporting patients.
