Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will engage in the research, planning, design, and development of mechanical systems and products. This includes instruments, controls, engines, and thermal systems that are crucial for energy production and management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and apply findings to the design and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Oversee Supplier Quality processes, focusing on suppliers of Pumps & Machinery commodities.
- Interface with suppliers to evaluate their quality management systems and manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform audits and assessments to ensure compliance with engineering and procurement specifications.
- Facilitate the resolution of material-related non-conformances in collaboration with internal teams.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address supplier-related issues.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quality engineering, is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.

Skills:
- Strong technical writing and customer relations abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in data analysis and auditing practices.
