Job Title: Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Round-Peg Solutions (RPS). As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in promoting and selling our electro-mechanical products to prime OEM customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate our account base and grow the business with prime OEM customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define appropriate applications of technology and articulate customers' requirements and needs.
  • Contribute to pricing and proposal recommendations, including strategic rationale, to ensure profitable new business opportunities.
  • Take on prospecting tasks to hunt for new customers and provide accurate and detailed trip reports, bookings forecast, and analyze booking trends for their territory.
  • Provide market intelligence and contribute to the company's knowledge base by identifying market trends, competitive information, regulatory issues, product strengths, and weaknesses based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Engineering or Business with 3 years of technical sales/relationship building experience with electro-mechanical products.
  • Expected travel to the region: 50%.
  • Must be a U.S. person in accordance with ITAR.
