Behavioral Health Program Manager

Join the County of San Diego's Health and Human Services Agency as a Behavioral Health Program Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of a County-operated outpatient clinic or a Case Management program, including program design, implementation, supervision, and management of direct service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a County-operated outpatient clinic or a Case Management program
- Design, implement, and manage programs to meet the needs of clients
- Supervise and manage direct service staff, including social workers, counselors, and other professionals
- Collaborate with county and community-based providers, legal entities, and families to ensure effective care coordination and delivery of clinical services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure program integrity and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field
- Three years of full-time post-master's degree experience in a mental health program providing case management and/or counseling and crisis intervention to a particular group or program under clinical supervision
- Current license by the State of California to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist
This position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
