We're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Waco, TX. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met or exceeded.

Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting required off-line testing for products to confirm they meet customer specifications. You will also accurately enter quality data into customized data sheets and be able to analyze the data for historic trends. Additionally, you will interact with machine operators to raise awareness related to defects and record corrective actions when appropriate. You will maintain lab data filing system and physical retention storage, and be able to work as a team and across departments throughout the plant. You will assist in analyzing quality metrics, in-house rejections, process capability data, and customer feedback. You will also ensure customer returns are checked in accurately and on time, and be actively involved in quality activities and at least one safety team.

Required Skills and QualificationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook) is required, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed and stand for long periods of time. You must also have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, and be able to work independently with high attention to detail. Rotating shifts are mandatory, and overtime is required and mandatory.
