Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections and investigations in Texas long-term care facilities to assess their compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct on-site inspections and investigations in Texas long-term care facilities to assess compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
* Communicate clearly and accurately with facility staff to provide information, answer inquiries, and address issues
* Complete inspection or survey reports detailing deficiencies, recommended remedies, and narrative to support regulatory findings
* Visit long-term care facilities to verify correction of previously cited regulatory violations

Requirements:

* Knowledge of acceptable professional standards of patient care
* Skilled in conducting investigations to verify compliance
* Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations
* Ability to multi-task and track multiple activities with competing priorities
* Ability to work independently
