Job Summary


The ideal candidate for the Cybersecurity Specialist role will leverage their expertise to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data.

Your primary responsibility will be to defend against cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks impacting Colas in North America. You will focus on cyber operations, analyzing, prioritizing, and addressing vulnerabilities and incidents.

Additionally, you will assist in implementing security solutions across North America, collaborating closely with team members and counterparts internationally.

Main Responsibilities

Security Initiatives:
Deploy and configure various security solutions based on project and operational needs.

Cybersecurity Assessments:
As part of a remediation strategy, establish and configure various solutions.

Incident Management:
Assist in investigating security breaches and executing mitigation strategies.

Vulnerability Management:
Address identified vulnerabilities.

Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain thorough documentation of security measures and periodically audit compliance with our cybersecurity protocols.

Disaster Recovery Planning:
Regularly audit our backup systems to ensure they align with our disaster recovery requirements.

Administration:
Following the appropriate approval processes, coordinate access to various security tools.

Training and Awareness:
Facilitate training for internal users on cybersecurity best practices.

Emerging Technologies:
Stay informed about the latest advancements in security technologies and recommend relevant solutions to enhance our security posture.

Profile


Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a systems administrator working with Windows Servers, SCCM, and Linux. Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation platforms. A positive attitude and strong work ethic. Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills. Willingness to travel within the US and Canada 2-3 times per year.

Desirable Skills:
French language proficiency. Experience in cybersecurity. Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure environments (Azure preferred, OCI, AWS). One or more current security-related certifications (e.g., CISSP, SANS GIAC, etc.). One or more cloud security certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP, CCSP). Strong knowledge and understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, CMMC.
