About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for our property portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Supervise a team of property accountants, fostering an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify financial trends, potential risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Work closely with property managers and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial information to senior management.
  • Leverage your expertise in Yardi software to optimize our financial operations and reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on real estate. Experience in a managerial role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software is a must.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all aspects of your work.
