Job Summary

The Director of Post Closing Operations is responsible for overseeing the final stages of real estate transactions to ensure proper completion and compliance with all post-closing processes. This role requires strategic leadership and direction to Post Closing teams, including managers and staff, to ensure timely and accurate processing, recording, and distribution of closing documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to Post Closing teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing, recording, and distribution of closing documents
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Drive process improvements and implement technology solutions to streamline workflows
  • Manage escalations of complex post-closing issues
  • Monitor performance metrics and maintain quality control
  • Assist in managing the department's budget and resources
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of Closing or Post Closing experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating personality
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
