What are the key responsibilities of a Culinary Service Associate?

Your daily tasks will include:
  • Serving meals and beverages
  • Preparing simple dishes and trays for clients
  • Delivering trays to clients
  • Documenting and retrieving dietary information
  • Cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain health standards
  • Providing courteous and attentive service to clients and their families
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by management to support the culinary team and fulfill client needs
What qualifications are preferred?

You may be the ideal candidate if you possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Prior experience in food service or customer relations (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and adapt to shifting priorities
  • A compassionate approach to serving clients and addressing their needs
  • A commitment to following health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • The capability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • The ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as required
  • A commitment to working 40 hours per week
