Job Summary:

As an Electrical Engineer at Dornan, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing method statements and risk assessments for production activities, as well as preparing reports and front-end studies, including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-off, and tender schedules. You will also be responsible for preparing technical and contract documentation for issue and analyzing returned tenders, keeping up-to-date delivery schedules to control deliveries, and seeking clarification on queries with the Design team through the request for information (RFI) system. Additionally, you will monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports, produce look-ahead programs to assist production, carry out quality control through inspections and snagging, and perform document control, recording, and transmitting information.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in Data Centre projects is a distinct advantage
• Familiarity with security, fire alarm, lighting, small power, ELV, and containment packages
