Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC) is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive counseling services to youth and families in the school, home, and community settings.

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Clinician will provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as case management and rehabilitation services to children and families. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other EBAC staff, caregivers, school leaders, and community partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care for youth and families, including individual and family therapy, group therapy, case management, rehabilitation, and collateral with other providers.
  • Work in a school setting to support youth in overcoming the impacts of trauma.
  • Work with families and youth in the community or home setting as needed to meet family needs.
  • Provide risk assessments and crisis consultation as needed.
  • Create and maintain high-quality clinical documents that guide effective treatment and meet county and agency best practices.
  • Meet service delivery requirements of the position.
  • Meet documentation deadlines.
  • Actively participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
  • Actively participate in training and learning opportunities.
  • Communicate collaboratively with families, school and community partners, peers, and program leadership.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Must be license eligible or CA Licensed (registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology).
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to children and families.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
  • Ability to efficiently use a web-based system for quality review of records and work performed.
  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) required.
