Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify finished goods counts prior to sterilization.
  • Execute IFS and traveler tasks as per work instructions, including component traceability, label verification, and production quantity.
  • Engage in professional communication with various organizational levels.
  • Effectively liaise with vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct Gamma and ETO lot wrap-up activities.
  • Restack skids and products to comply with sterility standards.
  • Ensure correct product dosing by verifying products meet specified parameters.
  • Label each skid with appropriate dose mapping numbers.
  • Stage, organize, and wrap skids for sterilization shipment. Load semi-trailers using Hi-Lo equipment.
  • Coordinate with trucking companies for pickup, drop-off, and trailer switching as necessary.
  • Create Purchase Orders and necessary documentation for shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accuracy in paperwork and count verifications, addressing discrepancies with manufacturing.
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Escalate issues to the Supervisor when required.
  • Work independently while demonstrating strong problem-solving, time management, decision-making, and organizational skills. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S principles.
  • Adhere to Aspen Surgical safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Utilize downtime effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Be prepared for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and Outlook.
  • Positive attitude with a flexible approach.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to obtain Hi-Lo license in accordance with OSHA standards.

  • Regularly required to use hands for handling and reaching.
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear.

  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
