Position Summary:
The role of a Customer Service Representative involves executing various tasks with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Operating the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling, lottery tickets, and cash cards
- Completing shift reports
- Maintaining cleanliness (windows, floors, restrooms, and waste disposal)
- Restocking shelves and coolers
- Conducting gasoline tank inventory (stick readings)
- Receiving and checking products upon delivery
- Performing yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells)
- Carrying out light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery)
- Assisting with merchandising
- Completing additional tasks as assigned by management
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication with team members and customers
- Ability to accurately count, read, and write for necessary paperwork
Position Requirements:
- Adherence to the required store uniform
- Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Participation in mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment training)
Physical Demands:
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of weights ranging from 1 to 15 lbs, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. The role requires reaching above shoulder height and bending below the waist, along with the ability to navigate all areas of the store efficiently.
