Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at TowneBank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, handling monetary transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and security of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to members in person, on the phone, and by email, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process monetary transactions, including handling cash, checks, and other financial instruments, and maintain the integrity of our financial systems.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers, balance transactions, and maintain accurate records to ensure the security and integrity of our financial systems.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals, provide support, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of bank teller experience with a single employer.
  • Skills: Proven ability to give excellent service, basic computer skills, and ability to learn new systems and processes.
  • Physical Demands: Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data and viewing a computer terminal.
