Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Intake Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of new consumers to identify their unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide Therapy and Crisis Intervention: Offer individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as crisis intervention services as needed, to support consumers in achieving their goals.
  • Coordinate Referrals: Collaborate with team members and external resources to ensure seamless referrals to community resources and services.
  • Support Consumer Population: Work closely with the treatment team to provide comprehensive support to consumers, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Document Services: Accurately and timely document all services provided, ensuring compliance with program standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences: Possess a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Experience in Community Mental Health: Have at least 1 year of experience working in community mental health, preferably in a similar role.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Fluent in English: Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Working Conditions

As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will work in a general office environment and outpatient facilities, with occasional travel required.
