Job Description
Intense Behavioral Services is seeking a Clinical Managing /Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, oversee Registered Behavior Technicians, Behavioral Technicians, in the home, community, school, and center-based services. Services will be rendered in multiple environments and locations mentioned. The candidate will focus on developing and maintaining behavior plans and skill acquisition plans, monitoring data and graphs. Managing BCBA will report directly to Clinical Director/ Manager BCBA
Job Responsibilities
· Develop and implement appropriate behavior plans for members including training of other staff members and families.
· Serve as liaison with health care providers, and insurance companies regarding treatment of members and appeals.
· Provide staff training on effective behavioral procedures and protocols.
· Develop an effective working relationship with staff and clients.
· Document all interactions with members by writing clinical notes.
· Participate as a member of the mediation team for contractors.
· Maintain program operations and facilitate program development and structure.
· Collaborate with Agency Heads and legal team when necessary.
· Manage BCBA caseloads, for family training and supervision.
· Collaborate with the managing behaviorist on performance evaluations.
· Conduct orientation and trainings for new Behavioral Technicians and RBTs.
· Attend meetings to represent Intense Behavioral Services in a professional and confidential manner.
· Collaborate and meet with managing team for meetings and company updates.
· Qualifications
· Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principles.
· BCBA Certification
· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff, members’ families, and within the community.
· Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive professional manner.
· Supervisory experience must be at least 3 years as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA.
· Professional knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office and ABA software.
· Ability to work independently and be resourceful as a team.
· Ability to deliver effective presentations and training programs.
· Demonstrate responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling.
· Tour Monday-Friday
Access to an automobile vehicle, valid driver’s license and good driving record required is required.
