Behavior Health Clinician

We are seeking a Master’s Level Clinician to join our Residential Program in East Norriton, PA. Horizon House, Inc. is a nationally recognized provider of services to adults who require supports as a result of behavioral health issues, developmental disabilities, homelessness and/or substance abuse. We have over 100 locations throughout Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Clinician will provide individual, group and/or family therapy according to each individual's recovery plan. The Clinician also provides support, education, counseling and guidance to clients in the recovery process. Additionally, the Clinician develops and reinforces mechanisms and resources to facilitate a substance free life style. Ensures a safe, secure and pleasant environment, in compliance with Agency policies and procedures and applicable regulations. Monitors and tracks progress of assigned caseload and provides individual and group outpatient counseling services for an assigned caseload of clients.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) preferred.
- Two years of relevant direct care experience in the field of Mental Health.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Knowledge of a variety of Mental Health Evidence Based Interventions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Must have great communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
