Job Summary

Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) is seeking a part-time Site Coordinator for our Biddeford Nutrition site. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and pivot from one priority to the next, be proficient with office equipment and working with a computer, and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Site Manager with recruitment, training, and recognition of site volunteers
  • Support management of food inventory
  • Coordinate and ensure meal delivery
  • Assist Site Manager to organize and plan Congregate meals
  • Assist in program reporting requirements
  • Cooperate fully with and lend full support to all program initiatives
  • Complete client intakes and eligibility assessments
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and ensure smooth operation of site
Qualifications
  • Experience working with older adults and volunteers preferred
  • Experience working within a nutrition program, non-profit, or other service delivery program preferred
  • Ability to perform independently with attention to detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Commitment to the agency's mission and core values
  • Capacity to work collegially and effectively with staff throughout the agency
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Maintains employee, client, and SMAA confidentiality
