Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill children and their families.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage the physical, psychological, and emotional needs of critically ill children and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Monitor and manage the patient's condition, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience required.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification (CCRN) or Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Certification (C-NPT) within two (2) years of hire date.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. You will be exposed to hazardous chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. You must be able to tolerate stressors of flight and medical transport, including excessive motion, vibration, extreme temperatures, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, frequent walking, bending/stooping, and providing patient care in confined spaces.
