Position Overview

The Cashier plays a vital role in our food service operations by managing transactions and providing excellent customer service. This position involves utilizing a cash register to process payments and serving a variety of concession items to guests. The Cashier is responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage presentations meet our quality standards and for maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process cash register sales accurately by entering orders and completing transactions.
  • Maintain stock levels and communicate with the Concessions Stand Manager regarding low inventory items.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
  • Serve beverages, including alcoholic options, responsibly while verifying guest identification in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred experience of three months or more in the food service industry.
  • Previous experience handling cash is preferred.
  • Ability to learn cash handling procedures and operate a cash register effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards coworkers, management, and guests.
