Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and secure assigned locations and perimeters
  • Observe, document, and uphold client expectations
  • Report any security breaches following established protocols
  • Utilize the company’s scheduling system for accurate shift management
  • Assess and respond to alerts in the vicinity with professionalism and adherence to company guidelines
  • Notify the Supervisor on Duty for any situations requiring escalation
  • Assist fellow safety officers in de-escalation efforts when necessary
  • Implement fire prevention measures, conduct property patrols, and complete incident reports
  • Work diligently to ensure the safety and security of clients, visitors, and property
  • Comply with all company service and operational standards
  • Perform additional tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid NYS Security Guard License
  • Current F-02 Certification (Certificate of Fitness for Fire Guard)
  • At least 6 months of experience in security
  • Completion of the 16 HR OJT Class mandated by NYS Licensing Division
  • Valid CPR-AED certification is advantageous
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong work ethic
