Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare investigational doses by reading datasheets, following protocol directions, and documenting thoroughly on investigational cards.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety standards when handling, preparing, and disposing of hazardous drugs.
  • Successfully complete annual process validations and maintain system proficiency.
  • Manage time efficiently and maintain high productivity.
  • Perform daily operational duties, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
  • Two years of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital, infusion center, or retail pharmacy.
  • Preferred experience in IV sterile preparation and prior pharmacy experience.
