Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Patient Service Representative. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide medication to patients and consumers.

Key responsibilities include contacting patients, performing patient insurance eligibility checks, preparing prescriptions for delivery, supporting prior authorization processing, addressing patient prescription concerns, and managing inbound pharmacy call volume.

Responsibilities
  • Contact patients to provide medication information and answer questions
  • Perform patient insurance eligibility checks to ensure accurate billing
  • Prepare prescriptions for delivery to patients
  • Support prior authorization processing to ensure timely medication delivery
  • Address patient prescription concerns and resolve issues
  • Manage inbound pharmacy call volume to ensure efficient customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
  • Experience in a pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is required
  • Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not required
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • $16.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience
