About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Health Specialist to join our team at Providence. As a key member of our Caregiver Health Services team, you will play a vital role in promoting optimal health and well-being among our caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical caregiver health services, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and Providence policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Infection Prevention, Absence and Disability Management, Workers' Compensation, and Well-being to deliver high-quality occupational and environmental health services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of health promotion programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct health risk assessments and provide education to caregivers on health-related topics.
  • Monitor and report on health trends and outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute hospital setting or similar nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • 6 months of experience in an Employee/Occupational Health setting.
  • 6 months of experience with computer databases and systems, such as Microsoft Office, Excel, OHM.
