Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative II to join our team at the City of Muskegon. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle routine administrative tasks, and support our department with a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including handling phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Interact with the public and other employees in a professional and courteous manner
  • Complete assigned duties with a high degree of confidentiality as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two or more years of experience in an office setting, retail, or customer service-related position
Work Environment

The employee regularly works in an office setting with a controlled climate where they sit and work on a computer, communicate by telephone, email or in person, and move around the office to travel to other locations. The employee may occasionally need to lift and/or move items of light weight. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
