Position Overview
As a Field Auto Claims Adjuster, you will be instrumental in our claims management process, conducting assessments directly at customer residences, repair facilities, or towing locations. Your role will encompass various interactions with customers and service providers, including in-person, virtual, and written communications, as you evaluate and finalize claims estimates. You will engage in a diverse array of tasks, including assessing repairable damages, determining total loss scenarios, and conducting virtual inspections, ensuring a stimulating and varied work atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Advocate: You will embody Allstate's commitment to exceptional claims service by demonstrating empathy, clarity, and dedication in every interaction.
- Claims Investigator: You will independently investigate claims by thoroughly reviewing damages and interpreting policy coverage.
- Effective Communicator: You will utilize various communication methods, including phone and email, to guide customers through a seamless claims process.
- Negotiation Specialist: You will assess and negotiate settlements with customers and other stakeholders, adhering to legal and business standards.
- Problem Solver: You will leverage multiple tools and platforms to efficiently manage claims in a fast-paced environment.
- Documentation Expert: You will maintain accurate records of your work in the claims system, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Work Environment:
This position is field-based, requiring you to be located in designated areas. A monthly internet stipend is provided to assist with connectivity costs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in auto collision estimating.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to create precise estimates.
- Comfortable with technology and various claims processing platforms.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Licensing Requirements:
- Obtaining an adjuster's license in multiple markets may be required within a specified timeframe.
- All necessary licenses must be maintained throughout employment.
