Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Field / Claim Investigator to join our team. As a Field / Claim Investigator, you will conduct insurance claims investigations, including taking recorded claimant and witness statements, and performing scene investigations. You will also review assignments and supporting documentation to determine case objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough investigations, including taking statements and performing scene investigations
- Review assignments and supporting documentation to determine case objectives and client expectations
- Prepare and dictate detailed investigation reports
- Meet strict due dates and maintain a sufficient level of client billable hours
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to effectively communicate with others
- Active listening skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and vehicle, with minimum auto insurance in the amount of $100,000 each person/$300,000 each accident bodily injury/$50,000 property damage
- Smartphone and computer or laptop with good internet connection
- Licensing: Applicants in Florida should possess a current Florida class C Private Investigator license, or Class CC PI Intern license
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- Loss Prevention experience
- General knowledge of insurance law
- AOE/COE investigative experience
- Claim Investigator / Field investigations experience – Face to face statements
- Experience in investigation of Life Insurance and Disability claims, Workers Compensation, product/auto/general liability claims, and contestable death claims
