Position Overview

Salary: $15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to students, families, colleagues, and school administration.
  • Address the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the children under your supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Maintain open and constructive communication with the Site Director.
  • Comply with all organizational and departmental policies to ensure safety for children, parents, and staff.
  • Exemplify positive behavior and guide children towards responsible conduct.
  • Complete all required training in a timely manner.
  • Implement and provide feedback on the daily curriculum and schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years and possession of a High School Diploma.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background Screening & Drug Screening.
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (training available).

Desired Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in English and Spanish, are advantageous.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated to improving program effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children and administration.
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically in daily situations.

Expectations:

  • Participate in all relevant meetings for this position.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities and equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed or requested.
  • Wear the designated staff uniform.
  • Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
  • Adhere to safety protocols for children, parents, and staff.
  • Follow the planned activities.
  • Familiarity with and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Promptly report any concerns to the Site Director.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $15.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
