  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of our fleet, including scheduling, routing, and maintenance.

  • Manage vendor relationships with sub-haulers, dealers, and mechanics to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
  • Develop and manage fleet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manage department budget and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to transportation and waste management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to branch employees on fleet matters and take responsibility for overall performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fleet management, transportation operations, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and laws, including those related to waste management.
