Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to assist in financing initiatives related to solar and battery storage. Associates play a vital role within deal teams, primarily focusing on financial modeling for transactions, engaging with capital providers, overseeing transaction due diligence, and leading the presentation of proposed deals to the Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate investment opportunities in solar projects using standard economic metrics such as unlevered and levered returns, while identifying essential value drivers for energy and infrastructure project assessments.
  • Develop and oversee all components of financial models for project financing activities.
  • Lead the execution of deals, which includes coordinating weekly cross-functional meetings, managing project timelines, and assessing risks that may hinder project progress or affect financial outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for key stakeholders, including senior management and external financing entities.
  • Oversee both internal and external project diligence as well as transaction timelines.

Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of experience in finance is required, with several years in the renewable energy sector (investment banking, project finance, or corporate M&A).
  • Knowledge of tax equity structures commonly used in the solar industry is essential.
