We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager within our Fund/Client Accounting division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple Fund Accounting teams tasked with delivering accounting services for a diverse portfolio of clients, including net asset value determination, fund performance calculation, expense allocation, and report preparation.
  • Manage the financial and human resources of the unit, ensuring that teams operate efficiently to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Direct processes and resource allocation for determining the net asset value (NAV) for assigned funds across various sectors for each measurement cycle.
  • Maintain relationships with a wide range of clients, addressing any unique escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.
  • Assess GAAP and/or IFRS regulations to evaluate the impact of new rules on BNY Mellon’s fund accounting practices.
  • Supervise interactions with auditors and clients to implement changes in financial reports, ensuring they accurately reflect fund performance.
  • Lead multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of overall work experience, with a preference for at least 1-3 years in a management role.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
