Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a dedicated team of Accountants tasked with delivering comprehensive accounting services for assigned clients, including the determination of net asset values, fund performance calculations, expense allocations, and report preparation.
- Lead the team in accurately calculating the net asset value (NAV) for assigned funds during each measurement cycle.
- Ensure thorough checks for the completeness and accuracy of disclosures in financial statements.
- Assess GAAP and/or IFRS regulations to evaluate their impact on our fund accounting practices.
- Direct the preparation of financial reports for clients, showcasing fund performance.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Accountants, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 0-1 years in a management capacity preferred.
- Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly regarded.
