Job Summary:

As an HR Operations Coordinator at Cumberland Farms Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting field supervisory personnel with HR-related functions. This includes ensuring team members are paid accurately, that policies and laws are applied correctly, and that team member records are maintained and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support field supervisory personnel in assigned states by providing guidance on HR data processes.
  • Validate and/or update data keyed in the field, including rehires, transfers, pay increases, promotions, and demotions.
  • Prepare data for personnel files by organizing paperwork and creating coversheets for scanning.
  • Research issues by reviewing audit trails and stored documents.
  • Review I-9s and other documentation to ensure policies and laws are being adhered to, and advise field supervisory personnel of any issues that arise.
  • Handle other projects as needed, including relationships with outside vendors, ordering department supplies, and regular mailings.
Working Relationships:

Interact daily with Retail field supervisory personnel from Store Managers up to Division Vice Presidents, and occasionally with outside vendors.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: High School
  • Preferred Education: Associates or some college
  • Minimum Experience: One year office experience with a customer service focus, some data entry
  • Preferred Experience: Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented, solid organizational skills
