We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our mobile imaging team, you will travel to various facilities using a company vehicle to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and be able to ensure compliance with protocols, maintain equipment, and prepare preliminary reports for radiologists.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing ultrasound examinations as ordered by the ordering physician
  • Preparing preliminary technologist's worksheets after each study and communicating them to reading radiologists
  • Completing all forms and maintaining records, visits logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols
  • Uploading all required documents into company systems according to company protocols
  • Maintaining routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment; assisting with troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment and systems as directed by management or Service Department personnel

To qualify for this role, you must meet state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and licensure to perform as a diagnostic medical sonographer. This includes being credentialed in medical sonography by a reputable organization such as the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is also required, as well as the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment.

This full-time position offers competitive pay, benefits, and shift differentials. Estimated salary is $80,000 - $120,000 per year based on location and experience.
