Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a mobile echocardiographer, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or in facilities.
Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Mobile Echocardiographer is responsible for performing echocardiographic studies using portable equipment. This role involves preparing and positioning patients, ensuring image quality for accurate diagnoses, and maintaining compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and strong communication skills.
About the Role- Perform echocardiographic studies in various settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, short-term rehabilitation facilities, specialty clinics, and correctional facilities.
- Maintain high-quality images for accurate diagnoses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
- Prepare and transmit images and associated documentation to cardiologists in a timely manner.
To be successful as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Mobile Echocardiographer, you must meet the following requirements:
- Adult Cardiac Sonographer certification with satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies.
- ARDMS registration in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registration with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
- Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred.
- Additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) desired.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
We offer competitive pay and benefits, including shift differentials and on-call pay. Our salary range is $ $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
