Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:

UCLA Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing our award-winning care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to perform simulations and treatment planning CTs.
  • Administer ionizing radiation per the physician's prescription.
  • Provide basic nursing care and manage patient scheduling and appointment management.
  • Perform dose calculations and enter treatment data.

Requirements:

  • ARRT License
  • CRT License
  • BLS/CPR from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skill in working with different types of treatment machines.
  • Ability to recognize when hazardous conditions may exist.
  • Knowledge of basic physics as applicable to Radiation Therapy.
