Location: Various locations across the state of CaliforniaRadiation Therapists administer targeted radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases. This role requires a high level of expertise and precision to ensure effective treatment and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy sessions.
- Operate and maintain radiation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor patients during treatment and manage potential side effects.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
- Certification from ARRT or equivalent in Radiation Therapy.
- Strong knowledge of oncology and radiation safety principles.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
