Radiation Therapists administer targeted radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases. This role requires a high level of expertise and precision to ensure effective treatment and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy sessions.
  • Operate and maintain radiation equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor patients during treatment and manage potential side effects.
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification from ARRT or equivalent in Radiation Therapy.
  • Strong knowledge of oncology and radiation safety principles.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
