Job Title: Material Handler/Materials Coordinator

Job Summary:

Ace Designs, a leading provider of custom retail displays, is searching for an energetic and detail-oriented Material Handler/Materials Coordinator to assist in managing the flow of materials and supplies within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing materials and supplies in accordance with warehouse standards and regulations.
  • Verify accuracy and inspect materials for damage or defects upon receipt.
  • Properly label and store materials in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to achieve efficient workflows and minimize errors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college credit in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or materials handling environment; prior knowledge of inventory management practices helpful.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to work.
  • Team player with excellent communication and time management skills.

Compensation Package:

  • A competitive salary of $40,000 - $52,000 per year, based on experience.
