Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Fire Science to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Fire Science and related fields, as well as developing and implementing curriculum to meet the needs of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Fire Science courses, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students, including course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Fire Science or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in Fire Science or a related field.
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Fire Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
  • Experience developing and implementing curriculum in a higher education setting.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach on a semester-by-semester basis, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and departmental needs.
