Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Music to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music courses, developing curriculum, and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach music courses, including Percussion Ensemble, in a dynamic and engaging manner.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's core values and teaching field.
  • Meet professional standards for faculty, including teaching, advising, and service.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote academic excellence and student success.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline/qualifying field.
  • Teaching experience in music, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the college's mission and goals.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
