Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our diesel trucks.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be working closely with our customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services, providing timely and professional support to ensure their safety and satisfaction.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to help extend the life of our diesel trucks.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a team environment. You must also be able to lift 75+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
