Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute operations on engine components in accordance with established process guidelines, utilizing hand tools and machinery while ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee the priming and painting processes of production components, strictly following specified procedures.
  • Participate in the disassembly of engines and assist in core reclamation activities as outlined in process documentation.
  • Engage in various tasks including Media Blasting, Soda Blasting, and working with materials such as Alodine, Phosphate, Crankshaft, Crankcase, and Cylinder Heads.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Carefully paint and prime production components to comply with aerospace industry standards.
  • Adhere to comprehensive instructions for operations on engine components.
  • Employ pneumatic tools and vibratory tumblers for deburring tasks in the production workflow.
  • Utilize washers and hand tools for the cleaning of engine components.
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of parts for machining as required.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Tools and Equipment Used:

  • Must meet physical requirements for the use of protective equipment such as respirators, face shields, aprons, gloves, and safety eyewear.
  • Utilize paint application equipment including paint guns and preparation tools.
  • Employ precision measurement instruments such as calipers and gauges for quality assurance.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED / Equivalent or Higher
