Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at Applied Industrial Technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions, including Machine Vision Systems, PLC's, motion control systems, and Robotics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and develop solutions to meet customer needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, sales engineers, and internal personnel to ensure successful project delivery
  • Program and commission machine vision, robotics, and control equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Two plus years of programming experience preferred
  • Experience in Machine Vision Systems (Cognex or Keyence) preferred
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to independently manage installation/programming efforts at multiple customer sites

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
