Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at the Peds Schmieding Center. As an APRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and administrative duties as designated by the Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, to inform patient care decisions.
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments as needed.
  • Facilitate patient transitions within and between healthcare settings.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • One year of experience as an APRN.
  • Current DEA certification or eligibility.
  • Current APRN certification in Family Medicine.
