Job Summary:

An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is sought after to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients and their families at Arkansas Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Nursing and have at least 6 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and interpret health assessment data to direct patient care.
  • Assess and identify patient/family physical, psychosocial, educational, and cultural needs.
  • Provide ongoing and follow-up care, including pharmacologic and diagnostic treatments, and patient/family education.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians, health providers, and hospital staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of strategies to improve patient care delivery and cost effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • 6 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on pediatric care.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification.
  • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) certification.
  • RN License (AR or Compact State).
