Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure complete guest satisfaction during Evening Event operations.
2. Engage proactively and communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
3. Address any issues that arise with guests, logistics, or other concerns appropriately.
4. Follow company protocols in cashiering and money handling practices.
5. Support management with essential departmental tasks and event details as required, including event setup and teardown.
6. Transition smoothly between various job functions with accuracy and efficiency.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
8. Collaborate closely with external services to uphold Aquarium guidelines, quality standards, and recycling initiatives.
9. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Aquarium campus, exhibits, and venue locations.
10. Uphold the core values and service standards established by the Aquarium.
11. Assist other Aquarium and IMAX personnel as necessary.
Key Requirements
• Prior experience with a Point-of-Sales system
• Experience in cash handling
• Exceptional customer service abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, professional demeanor with a good sense of humor
• Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure during events
• Keen attention to detail
• Capability to complete tasks independently and responsibly
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
This is a part-time, hourly position primarily involving evening and weekend shifts, with event frequency varying based on demand and availability.
