About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Growth Manager to join our team at Gen. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth strategy and expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential areas for expansion and targets for partnership or acquisition, leveraging your expertise in business development and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transactions, ensuring accurate and reliable data-driven insights.
- Prepare and present high-quality presentation materials and proposals to communicate recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders, effectively articulating the value proposition and potential returns on investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, negotiating business terms and agreements that align with our company's goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive the deal closing process, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication among stakeholders.
- Analyze and monitor the performance of partners and acquisitions, establishing relevant reports and dashboards to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Review and optimize existing strategic partnership contracts, identifying opportunities for expansion, cost savings, and renewal.
Qualifications:
- Master's or bachelor's degree in business, finance, science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in business development, strategic planning, and financial analysis.
- 6-10+ years of relevant work experience in investment banking, corporate development, partnership, or related fields, with a proven track record of driving growth and expansion.
- Experience with a variety of transaction types, including M&A and product partnerships, with a strong understanding of the deal-making process and negotiation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Genuine interest in researching consumer technology trends and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Humble and self-starting individual with a strong work ethic and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Compensation:
Arizona base pay range: $170,000 - $215,000
California base pay range: $175,000 - $230,000
