Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a school-based SLP, you will work with students who require speech and language services to help them achieve their full potential.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time contract position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders, ASHA certification, and a Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Participate in the IEP process and eligibility meetings for new referrals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • ASHA certified applicants preferred
  • Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology License
